Terms of Service

Informational only — not customs or legal advice. HTSAlert monitors and reports US tariff data. It does not file customs entries, provide classification services, or give legal or customs advice. Always verify duty treatment with a licensed customs broker before making compliance or filing decisions.
1. The service
HTSAlert lets you monitor HTS codes and notifies you when a duty rate changes, with supporting detail sourced from the USITC Harmonized Tariff Schedule and the Federal Register. We work to keep this data accurate and timely but do not warrant that it is error-free, complete, or current, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in access secure. Provide accurate information and use the service only for lawful purposes.
3. Subscriptions & billing
A free tier is available. Paid plans (billed monthly via Stripe) unlock higher limits and additional delivery and export features. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the current period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no scraping or bulk redistribution of our data, no attempts to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform, and no use that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
5. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HTSAlert and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any duties, penalties, or losses arising from reliance on the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.
6. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions? Reach the operator via vboldyrev.com.
